The Voice

Welcome to the PractiPel Pedagogue! As a Black woman with a deep philosophical, and radical educational background and high certification, Shapel brings a unique perspective to education. Exploring themes of knowledge construction concerning senses, feminist ethics, and critical race theory. Her research efforts focus on community liberation, radical learning, embodied knowledge, self-determination, and holistic and liberatory educational practices. Shapel believes in creating an inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered and free to explore the concepts of power and privilege. Her main goal as an educator is to help her students develop their intellectual and social consciousness. By collaborating with Shapel, you will have an opportunity to broaden your horizons and explore yourself concerning the world around you.
